Oscar Kamagara

Oscar is an office assistant at DLG. He is currently pursuing a Diploma (part time) at Kyambogo University in Kampala. He is responsible for the general office duties at the firm. Oscar has experience in providing general office support.

Dan Ngabirano (DR.)

Dan is a Ugandan and USA trained lawyer. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Development Law Group and a Lecturer at the School of Law, Makerere University in Uganda. He oversees the group’s overall legal and consulting practice with specialty in the areas of Taxation, Non-Profits and For Good Businesses. Dan started out his career working at a premier human rights and social justice NGO in 2007, before becoming a full-time legal practitioner and consultant later in 2010.

Kenneth Muhwezi

Kenneth is a Law Clerk at the firm. He studied at the Law Development Centre where he represented fellow students on the Guild Council. Kenneth has previously interned at the Nakawa Chief Magistrates Court where he acquired practical knowledge in Court processes.

Kenneth is responsible for ensuring that the firm’s day to day activities and the client’s instructions are executed in a timely and effective manner at all times.

Alice Nsangi Lwanga

Alice is the Finance and Administrative Assistant at the Group. Alice’s work entails running of daily operations, reviewing the Group’s financial and budgetary goals, communication and operational matters and coordination of the Group’s administrative management support to partners and clients. She also exercises human resource and interpersonal related issues and provides leadership to the rest of the administrative staff.

Timothy Kyepa (Dr)

Timothy obtained his LLB (Honours) from Makerere University in Uganda, as well as a Diploma in Law from the Law Development Center. He also holds a Master of Laws (International Trade, Investment and Business Law) from the University of the Western Cape in South Africa. He is interested in the areas of international trade, Corporate Law and Oil and Gas transactions and has advised clients in these and other areas of the law. He has in the past practised law with a major commercial law firm in Uganda and has taught law at his alma mater in South Africa.

Enga Kameni (Dr)

Enga obtained his LLB (Honours) from the University of Buea, Cameroon and the Maitrise en Droit (Honours) in Business Law from the University of Yaounde II, Soa, also in Cameroon, before going on to earn an LLM in International Trade and Investment Law (Distinction) awarded jointly by the University of the Western Cape (South Africa) and the Washington College of Law (USA).

Jeanie Namugga

Jeanie is a USA and Uganda trained lawyer. Jeanie is an Associate Partner at Development Law Group and currently in charge of Human Resource and Administration. She is also a Parttime lecturer at Cavendish University in Uganda. Jeanie oversees the group’s natural resources, land, environment and employment practices. Jeanie started out her career working as a Legal Research Officer in the Uganda Courts of Judicature. She has also previously worked as a Fellow at the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
